Hello,
I always come across articles saying 24-27h between laying eggs. My, today 122days old hen, just laid her 10th egg in intervals 23h. Each day an hour earlier. How come, since supposedly it takes 24h to develop an egg?

Pullets are just figuring out their systems!
Or it could just be an anomaly in nature. One of my hens (1.3 years old), lays an egg every 30 or so hours.

Thank you. I hope she stops soon, it must be bad for her. How long between the egg is developed till she lays it? Do you know please?
