Well, I have been trying to figure out where one of my chickens has been laying her eggs lately. Where she originally was laying has been blocked off. Anyways, the other night my husband was in his shop doing some stuff and lo and behold there are two eggs in the weirdest of places. This chicken had to jump up onto my husbands work bench. Then gets into a bucket of nails and there were 2 eggs in the bucket. Why in god's earth would a chicken want to lay her eggs in a bucket of nails.
I thought I was posting this in chicken behaviors and egg laying. Maybe one of the moderators could move this to the correct forum.
