laying eggs

I have a small banny hen...unkown of her age...she recently was laying an egg about every other day....in the past two weeks she have produced none that i can see......is this normal.....?

is she setting on the nest all the time (broody) or molting? These will stop her laying. Illness and stress can also stop their laying. Look her over good for any signs of a problem. Color of her comb, presence of mites, etc.

Could she be laying them somewhere that you don't know About? Maybe outside or behind something?

well i know she isnt laying elsewhere, now i did add a few buff orpingtons to the house.....she was alone prior ....guess this could be the problem?
i was hoping it was not a snake during the night time....
