Laying eggs

Hi everyone so I have a quick question. I have a 7 month old silkie and she has stopped laying eggs. Is this normal? She would usually lay up to 3 eggs a week and this week I didn't get any. Is this something to be concerned about or is this normal for them at this age? She has never laid soft shelled eggs and seems to be eating, drinking and pooping normally and has been dust bathing. However, she has been laying in the egg box but no eggs. Also is it normal for silkies to lay only 2 times a week? What do you guys think?

It sounds as if she may be going broody. Does she stay in the nest box over night?

Yes she sits there all night and like 2 hours during the day and continues on with her day @sourland
