Laying everyday?

I know this will sound dumb, but I'm new to this. I thought chickens took a day off laying once a week or so. My red stars lay every day, no days off. Same time everyday. Is this normal? I'm not complaining, it's nice getting lots of eggs, but I'm curious is this is normal.

Red stars are high production bred birds. They can lay like this for a while, but they usually do take a day off here and there. Enjoy the eggs!
