WE JUST RECENTLY FOUND ONE OF OUR HENS SITTING ON A CLUTCH IN THE DOG HOUSE...THANK GOODNESS IT ISNT OCCUPIED. ARE THE CHICKS GOING TO SURVIVE THE COLD....WE LIVE IN CHARLOTTE NC. I JUST WANT TO LET MAMA TAKE CARE OF THEM IF THEY HATCH. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THEY WILL HATCH. THANKS YALL

They should hatch. I have raised winter broods (up here in NJ where our weather is generally colder) with mixed results. If you could provide a heat source for mother and chicks until they feather out, it would increase your chances of success.
