I have 5 two year old hens (2 RIR, 3 BSL) that are down in the old coop (I tried moving them up in the new one, but even after been in the coop for a week or so, they all migrated back down... oh well!) and 5 Golden Comets from April. I have two that look like they could/should be laying and so I have been on lookout for a couple weeks. I have been keeping them up until early afternoon since they had been free ranging most of the day just in case they were laying somewhere else. Down at the old coop I have been consistently getting 2 eggs a day, I am 99% sure from my 2 RIRs. I know one, if not two of my BSLs had gone broody a few weeks ago. Today I went out and there were 5!!! One was an itty bitty egg. So now I have no idea who is laying, and I assume the itty bitty egg is from one of my young hens?? I saw them in the old run one time last week, but usually they stay up closer to the house. I have no idea what's going on now!

LOL sounds like you might benefit from watching Chicken TV for a good while this weekend! The only way I can figure it out is to catch them in the act sometimes. Crazy chickens.
