Serma hen perfectly healthy with young chicks. Found her at opening of co-op with beak stuck and on her back. When I seen her I thought her neck was broken she was so twisted. I helped her out and she was very dazed. Left her with her babies but she kept falling over on her side. I put her and babies in isolation. Seems to be getting worse. Falls back on butt and is always laying on side. I don't see anything obviously broken. When outside she would be more active. Should I keep her in and support her somehow. Or let her run and see if gets better. She was out for 2 days and now in house for 2 days

She is not fine. She has something very amiss.

Since she has been brooding, it could be a vitamin or mineral deficiency as broody hens don't eat well.

I would get her on some vitamin/mineral electrolytes asap. You can put the powder in a quart jar, make it a little stronger than the label says, even the babes could have some. Also giver her a mash of scrambled eggs and yogurt.

It could be a calcium, Vitamin E, Selenium, or B Vitamin deficiency.

It also could potentially be botulism or mold poisoning...are there any moldy feeds anywhere?

And finally, Marek's could have raised its ugly head with her immune system lowered after brooding.

Hopefully some TLC will help. You definitely need to address this with her inside and not running around outside.
