Right, So I let my chooks out every day and I seem to notice the lack of eggs, a few weeks ago I've found 3 nests with 9 eggs each! I did a huge search today and turned up no results, where could they be laying? How do I prevent this? I've tried keeping them in the coop for three days and that made no difference what so ever.

Please help!

When you kept them in the coop, they laid in the nest boxes? Personally, I'd continue doing it until they get the idea. You may also wish to look into the existence of any parasites that may be breeding in your nest boxes as that would also be a deterrent.

Yes at first but I then went away for a couple weeks and when I came back they'd stopped doing it, any ideas?
