Laying question

My one runner duck was egg bound end of April. Doing fine she laid a few strange eggs since is this normal?

I don’t have any pictures...but she layed a shell less egg a few days ago, then yesterday a thin shelled egg and today did not lay she has layed normal after she was egg bound..

Does she have access to supplemental calcium such as oyster shell?

Oh yes they all eat layer crumbles (I only have ducks no drakes) and I give them fresh oyster shell every day

Was she just starting back to laying? Sometimes at end of laying cycle and beginning they can lay soft shell or shell less. Might want to get some Calcium citrate and give her some in mashed peas for a few days and see if that helps. 250mgs

Yes just starting back to laying..and I have the liquid calcium gluconate would that work?

Yes if she'll eat peas put a couple teaspoons over and mix it up do this for 2-4 days and see if it makes any difference.

Do you feed Spinach to them?...That blocks them from absorbing calcium. Also is it a Chicken feed because Ducks are water fowl not Poultry..
Try a Turkey finisher feed with oyster shell in a separate bowl...
