Hi All,

We are in need of your advice and help. We have a black austrolorp and she has not been doing well. She has laid us one egg about a month and a half ago and it was a double yolker. Since then she (we assume it is her) has laid off of the roost several times and once or twice just on the floor of the coop. She lays either eggs without a shell or some with the soft membrane on them. About 3 weeks ago we noticed her chest was swollen and felt like a water balloon. I researched here and found that it was probably sour crop. After reading the miracles of monistat we did a round and she seemed to get a little better. Now her swollen crop is back and still no eggs. She doesn't act sick at all. She runs around with the other two hens. She does come and visit the back porch and peck at the window when she sees me. She follows me around ( I suspect because I give her yogurt).

Anyway, we are in need of help. I am worried she is going to get my other birds sick or pass something to my kids. I don't know, but we are concerned.

Does anyone have any thoughts? I attached a picture :)
