You find an egg in the nest material one day.

That's the only way I knew.

Sometimes you see squating behavior a few weeks before they start. Hopefully that means Uno will be laying soon. I figured she should be laying by the end of August and she just started squatting for the drake, but she wont let him climb on yet. LOL

i have seen in mine that the bottom (tummy?) of the duck right behind her legs drops a few inches. about 3wks later they start laying
