ok, so I got my little broody hen to snap out being almost psychotically broody
by destroying her nest at the beginning of June. It has been about 3 weeks since she regained her sanity, and maybe two weeks since I last heard a broody chirp. She was broody for about 2 and 1/2 months. Is there a certain expected time frame as to when she may start laying again? I know that Muscovy hens lay in clutches, unlike some other breeds, so I don’t know what to expect. Her sister layed 1 clutch, briefly and very casually considered going broody before deciding that that would be boring. She restarted laying within a week or two, and has been laying daily since. I don’t care if my other hen lays or not, really, but I do want to be on the lookout for anything abnormal. Thank you in advance!

Edited to add-Although naturally tiny, she never lost condition while broody as I would make her take food and water breaks. She is currently in very good shape and is finally enjoying her summer with her sisters!
