Laying to broody time line????

How long from the time a chicken starts laying till she goes broody. I am new to this and would like to have her hatch some babies.

Each hen is individual. I have quite a few who have never been broody, but one that seems like she always is.

Yes there really is no set in stone timetable for hens to go broody, some may never, some will, some will always be. if it is a broody your looking for, just do what most of us do. GET SILKIES LOL.
