Laying while roosting

Has anyone had a hen lay while up on a roost overnight or very early in the am before coming down for the day? The roost is about 5' up. I have found my Ameracauna's egg on 2 separate occasions broken on the floor under the roost.

Are these young Pullets just beginning to lay? Possibly getting scared and dropping eggs from the Roost?

Is one end crushed in as if it landed on it from that height? I have found eggs under my roosting rods broke on their sides from where it was layed the night before or early and then broken when others fly down and land on it.
How old is the hen you suspect is doing this? If very young, sh may just hasn't figured things out yet.

She is almost 2 years old. I find her eggs in the proper places all the other times.

Sounds like she just has bad timing on occasion then, where her system is ready to lay in the evening but it's too late for her to go and place it in the nest box.

Even my young red stars do it when i'm late in the morning to open the night coop
I putted the roost more near to the floor: so eggs don't break
