Laying????

Ok so I bought a chicken from someone last winter, I think it was like March or something and it was almost full feathered then, I think she was 12 weeks then, well, I am still not getting eggs. And she is not a roo.

I give her laying feed and veggie scraps, oyster shell,etc. She has plenty of water and I spray down her coop so it gets cool in the heat. I am at a loss.

Oh and I also just brought in two new chickens, how long will there be an egg strike??? I figure we need a few weeks to a month to adjust. Please help, I am new and I am really frustrated, ready for chicken soup!!!!

12 weeks chicken suppose to be fully feathered no almost.this make me think you bought younger chick( maybe 3-4 weeks).If the bird is healthywill start laying soon.Can you give us pictures?
