I got 4 chicks from My Pet Chicken last Tuesday, 2 SLW and 2 BO. One of the BO's is not as energetic as the other three chicks. She will walk around for a few minutes, then lays down separate from the other chicks. She always has a slightly poofy look, like she might feel a little off, but not the droopy-sick-chick look. She is growing at the same pace as the others, and seems to be eating and drinking well. Her poops are normal. I am concerned because she seems to lack stamina, and as she gets older her activity level is not increasing much, while the other chicks are getting more and more active.

Any ideas on what I should do?

I would just let her set her own pace. I would make sure she has a heat lamp available for warmth and naps. And always fresh food and water. Benebac is a probiotic that you can get from a bird vet. A tiny drop of that on her tongue would help her tummy feel good.

She is drinking and eating, but she is just much less active and spends a lot of time lying down when the others are running around and being active. I have checked her crop, and it is usually full, and I have watched to make sure she drinks and poops.

I just feel like there is something wrong with this chick, but who knows? Maybe in a month she will have out grown everyone else and be the queen of the coop.

I had one chick like that--seemed out of sync with the others and slept by herself under the heater. I think the shipping was a greater stress for her than the others.
Her development was also slower (but that might be due to her different breed-Faverolles). I made sure she had water and put Poultry Nutri-Drench in the water (vitamins in a molasses base, which is quickly absorbed into the system) and I think it gave her a boost.
Now, at 3 1/2 weeks, she's just as active as the others and is much more sociable with them.
Her feathers have even started to finally come in at a good pace.
