Lazy ducks in winter?

My ducks molted and are still growing the last of their new feathers but I noticed a huge change in him!!! not so much with my female, but he is starting to be his normal self again.

My ducks molted and are still growing the last of their new feathers but I noticed a huge change in him!!! not so much with my female, but he is starting to be his normal self again.

Seems the older they get the harder the molt is on them, I give mine Poultry Nutri Drench in their water during molt to help them through it. Still waiting on 2 of my ducks to go through molt, they haven't even begun.

All of this is very helpful, thank you all so much. I will try to perk up their immune systems and be keeping my eyes peeled for any for any trouble makers. I was thinking, too, that the molting had something to do with it. It never really seemed to bother them before, but I know they aren't the little youngsters that I like to think they are anymore...

when they have a hard molt extra protein helps them bounce back easier.
