lead-free as possible

Nice run system!
Not too fond of their coops tho...the roost is below the nests?? Obviously they started with dog containment.
I do like the digging protectors that attach to the run walls.

That amount of $ would have bought a lot of electrified poultry net. And you get FREE shipping from Premier.

Oh we're using electric fencing too! Evidently we already have a lot of it left from the previous owners of our house. They kept show goats and fancy cattle. DH is going to use it to protect his garden from the deer that are enjoying so much. He will probably end up enclosing several acres which would include our house, immediate yards, and the chicken run. He wanted to just rely on the the electrified poultry netting without any fencing like you do but I just don't trust it for 365 24/7 protection. He says I'm being paranoid but then...he can't talk given the lead issue!! With the intensity of the severe weather we get, and the large number of predators here, I would really like the secure coop...run..electric fence...our dog...and armed guards.
I figured if he was ok with that amount of money, it is fine with me :)

We didn't get their coop. We have the Snaplock standard size coop. It is working out well as we've already moved it several times and it is super light-weight. We also took the whole house off the base to do some cleaning and to put it up on the stand he built for it. There is plenty of room for the 4 girls as long as they are out in a run all day. I wouldn't want them confined in that space for very long. I hope to add photos of the chickens inside the coop plus the moveable, secure, run DH made with 2 Precision extension pens. I sure hope we're happy with the new system. I think I once bought a car for that amount of money!
