Hi there,

I just bought a brass garden hose connector (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006U66B6/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i02?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to be exact. It specifically says it contains lead. My concern is that this hose connector will be connected to the same hose I use to fill the chicken water buckets. Will this lead that's going to get into their water effect them, and possibly the eggs they will lay that we will eat, as well?

Thank you so much for any thoughts on this!

Hmm I use a brass nozzle too and didn't know this.

Well I am still here alive but don't know how to advise you.

I wonder if they are all like that.

It doesn't mean lead will get in the water.

If you had read the label on your hose, it probably said the same thing.
Most say "Not for drinking water"

It's not worth worrying about
