Leader of the pack

I have 5 pullets. One is obviously the leader. They all follow her around.
Recently she has started this "argument" thing with the others. She ruffles her neck feathers and they kind of bob back and fourth at each others heads.
It's not all the time just sometimes.
Is this normal?

Yes, it is normal as those lower in the pecking order are always trying to move up the pecking order. Once they settle it out, things calm down but then when they perceive a change in something they go at it again to ensure their place.

So she is probably saying yes I am still in charge.
