I should be getting a bunch of little cuties in a week! I am so excited, I am in my second year of having chickens, my girls made it through our cold alaska winter like champs! now its spring and I have "the fever" will post pics and ask for help identifying what i get cause I am sure I will have no idea! haha

well, I got my order last night. I think out of the 26, 10 or 11 will survive. I expected as much after reading what happened with others. I think when I call Meyer tomorrow I will ask if I can put off sending replacement ones until may. its just too cold. I will post pics later today to see if anyone can help me identify what i've got :)

O.k. Here is the first picture, there are more than this, but these were the only ones out from under the brooder.

I don't have the first clue what I have so I would appreciate any help in identifying these :)
I'll post more as they come out.

(These are all educated guess but don't bet on me!!!) I'm guessing the light chipmunk is an EE, the red is a rhode island red, black is a australorp, no clue on the other one!

Congratz, they are such cuties! I agree with EE, Australorp and RIR, no clue on that grayish/white one though... kinda looks like a Blue Splash Marans
