Leap Year Hatch.... Who's with me? *updated with webcam link*

They are cute little buggers are they yellow? I now have 26 chicks. 2 eggs left no pips in them yet.

Yep I have 3 yellows and 3 chipmunk colored.

I'm joining this thread...I originally set on 2/6..but I still have several that are hatching or haven't hatched (under a broody)...I just went out to the coop to check on my runner duck that had gotten her leg caught in fencing earlier. I put her in the coop to recuperate since she was having a hard time walking...well she was walking fine and wanted out with her friends, and her friends wanted her out, too, they were pacing the chain link (they sleep in the fenced run). So of course I had to check on the babies - two more broken egg shells

...when feeling around in the dark for chicks I got a nice fat fingerful of nasty broody poo in the back of the box

...poor girl, this hatch has been so spread out she can hardly get up (which she had been doing regularly). I'll have to give her a nice clean box tomorrow when I take pics of the chicks.

Since I already had it on me, I scooped out all I could feel and threw it in the run...yuck!

Three times washing my hands and under my nails with anti-bac soap and I still haven't gotten all the smell off yet...

I was aiming for a Leap Day hatch as well. I've been on the end of february thread. Had my first chick hatch 2 hours ago......waiting on the rest. A BBS Ameraucana is making it's way out now and a couple more pips.

Congrats on all the chicks everyone can't wait to see the other pics. I am at 27 now, I think that is it. one died in the shell hatching and the other has done nothing.

I've not got anymore movement either looks like I got 6 out of 50
