We left for 45 minutes to run to the store. You know what happened while we were gone?

Meet "Uno" a barred rock/ auracauna cross(egg came from my flock).

Well I candled the rest of the eggs with a more powerful light, only one was moving. I stuck it back in the incubator and did eggtopsies on the rest. Two quit about day 15 and day 18, the rest appeared to have bacteria

So I'll just leave my little bantam egg in there all by his lonesome and hopefully he'll hatch. Next time I'm going to start with a smaller batch and hopefully I'll be able to find all white eggs to make this process a bit more easier for me.

Great pics guys This has been a fun hatch with a good group glad i got in. I have like 18 more days till the next set starts hatching.

we have emu!.. He decided to finish hatching while I was out tending to the other animals

What kind of light did you use on that Serama egg? Do you know how many lumens it is?
I have a EagleTac flashlight.

I have a 10 led flashlight for candeling and usaed a regular 100 watt bulb for incubation.
