Learning about chickens

I have 9 hens that are going to (hopefully) start laying eggs next month. 3 Rhode Island Reds, 3 Red Shouldered Yokohamas, 2 Ameraucanas, and 1 Black Yangshan. I have about 1/4 acre out back and am looking to expand into so my girls can run free during the day. I'm looking forward to learning more about chickens and raising them.
