learning and loving it

Hi all
Im new to raising chickens. My partnwr is really into it so i want to learn more so i can actually be of help, not a hindrance lol.
We hatched our first silky babies just 3 weeks ago which was amazing!
We have more due to hatch in a week and a half.
I look forward to reading posts on here and learn something so i can be of help to my partner.

Silkie hens tend to make fantastic broody mamas. When you chicks get old enough, some may be hatching the eggs for you. You may be interested in joining the "Silkie thread." Lots of pictures and helpful people there.
