Is it ok for chickens to eat leaves that fall from trees ?

I have a huge pecan tree that is next to their RUN and COOP , was wondering if these leaves can effect the chickens if eaten ?

I don't have an answer as to the pecan trees. I was wondering if anyone else answered this question yet? I do know that chickens love to scratch through leaves.. I just don't know about them eating the leaves.

my horse, chickens, and ducks all love eating birch leaves.

Apparently birch is quite edible and can be made into a tonic or syrup.
