Leaving ducklings in incubator overnight?

One little baby hatched about 4 1/2 hours ago, and another is almost done unzipping. The 3rd has externally pipped but not unzipped yet. I know I'm not supposed to open the brooder while eggs are hatching, and it hasn't even been that long since the first one hatched. It's 10:00 so I'm hoping to be able to move them in the morning, but I'm worried about the hatched ones sticking their bills into the fan or something overnight. The one in there now has nibbled on some screws above him a couple times. Is that likely to happen, or should they be okay in there while I'm not awake to monitor?

Warning: I have no duck experience.

But with chicken chicks, if you turn out the light so the room is dark, they will lay down and take a nap instead of bumbling around all night.

So you might consider trying that.

(Given how dark it must be under a duck or a hen, especially at night, I am sure the other eggs can hatch without light.)

Thank you both, hopefully they will settle down then with the light out. The incubator is a NR360 and it does have a shield over the fan, but the holes look large enough to stick a little duck bill into. I don't know if there's some kind of extra shield that can be added?
