my fiance and i are leaving for the military and are looking for a good and loving forever home for out 1.5 yr old pit bull terrier mix. we picked him up as a stray in november 2008. he was very sick and all scarred up, he was all bones. we took him in and gave him the vet care he needed. he is all up to date on his shots and is house trained, he has been living as a strictly indoor dog since we dont have fencing and we take him out to go potty. he has been living with another dog for the last 9 months. he is the sweetest dog i have ever known. he does need some exercise but he does great in the house. the stray dog issue is rampant around here and i know that if i take him to a shelter there isn't much hope for him. everyone around here already have all the dogs they can handle lol and i can not find a home for my Drifter. he is not very big but is full grown, he is golden with a white chest and gold eyes. his tail is broken and bent since that is the way we found him, it doesn't give him any trouble though. if anyone is interested in giving him a good home please pm me. i would certainly apreciate it. (side note) i have raised him with chickens and ducks int he yard and he is no longer a threat to them. he will run around and ignore them completely. the ducks he seems interested in but he only sniffs them. when it comes to cats, he can't resisit the urge to chase but has not killed anything.
