is it ok to leave my newly hatched chicks in the coop and run with the momma hen?momma hen seems like she potects them pretty well.when any other hen pops her head in the box with her she gives them a peck.yesterday was the first day she'd taken them out side to freerange with the other hens.was pretty neet to see them out with momma.it's the first time shed been off the rest the eggs in over a week...while she was out i dicarded the other eggs because i didnt think any more were going to hatch.8 out of 15 eggs hatched in alittle over a week period.
