Leaving the nest.....ALL Night???

One of my ducks has been sitting on her eggs for a couple of weeks now but, the problem is she is leaving the nest and joining the rest of the ducks...for the entire night!! I live in Washington so, its cooling to about 45 degrees F. Do you think this is normal or do you think the eggs will fair well? Also, it looks like she is sitting on too many eggs 14-18. Anyone?

What breed? Some will have a huge pile of eggs.

Also, some ducks will abandon the nest. If you want them to develop, they need to be placed in an incubator immediately.

She sits on them for about 16 hours a day...i am just not sure they will keep their temperature through the night....
