I leave the windows, vents and pop door open year round. The fun is pretty secure. y covered run keeps the rain and snow out of the coop. See my coop article. It looks like your run might be placed to the side. In that case you may need to close the windows to keep out the rain/snow. I have a temp/humidity sensor in the coop. That might be a worthwhile investment. This is a recent picture. It shows a pretty high temp. But the humidity is not terrible.

The coop looks great. Leave windows and vents open. Dew falls on outside structures, it doesn't go inside. My only suggestion is to have another roost that is higher, like a foot below that 2x4 on the back wall in the last photo. The distance from the wall looks fine to me. Of course you want the second roost non-aligned to the first, you don't want your birds pooping on each other! I also suggest you put the food and water in the run when you get that part finished. You don't want to attract mice to your coop. Otherwise it's super! By the way, where are you located, you don't say?:D

The 6 week old chicks should be outside too. I have my 4 day old chicks outside. . . . They are separate from the flock. If yours are separated, I understand. You need an outdoor brooder for the future! Chicken math is a real virus, be careful or you will get it!
