Lebanon Indiana Poultry Show!!!

Dear BYC Folk,

Just checking to see what you thought of the Lebanon show. Did any of you exhibit? I didn't exhibit but I bought two trios of Red Brown Old English bantams: two cockerels and four pullets. I thought it was a pretty good show, and I got to meet some really nice people who breed some show quality birds. All in all, it was worth the trip.

My son and sister showed at the show. My son got a first, second, and reserve breed with his black Ameraucanas. My sister got two first, two seconds, best of breed, and reserve of breed with her black Ameraucana bantams. She also got reserve champion in her class. It was a great first show.

I enterd my 3 standard white leghorns but didn't get anything

the judge said they were production birds instead od show birds. I don't like to brag but the other cock that was there was in poor condition I thought. He even had blue on his feather and still beat mine. Oh well...It was fun
