Leftover cornbread for chicks?

Have 40 chicks ranging in age from 1 1/2 weeks to 3 weeks....and a square of leftover cornbread made from Jiffy Mix. Can they have it for a treat or is it too early?

I think they will have to have grit if you give them anything other than feed.

I think they would be just fine with it, you might want to include a little grit but if you dont, its not like its a whole pan of cornbread and its being shared by 40 chicks.

make sure plenty of water is around and crumble it very very very good.

Mine get it very rarely. It's not good for them to have a lot but I see no harm in them getting some. Crumble it realllllyy well. Lots of water, and enjoy watching them

I don't see why not. We feed stuff like that to ours.
