Leftover Oil?

Do people think it would be ok to feed leftover vegetable oil to chickens? Not a ton, maybe about a pint for 20 chickens. I know they need fat in their diets and will often eat sunflower seeds for their oily fat, so it sounds reasonable to me. What do you guys think? I hate throwing oil away...

Use it. Not to much at a time.
Will improve condition of the feathers and the shanks.
Bagged feed does not really have enough fat in it for chickens. Fat tends to reduce shelf life of the feed so feed companies do not include much of it.

Thanks! What do you think would be too much at a time and would soaking the feed in it be a good way to give it to them?

Squirt it on the top of the feed daily, make a pint last a month.
