Leg and Wing band plier question

Does anybody know if you can use the same pair of pliers to seal up the RIVET style ends on leg bands and Zip rivet style wing bands??

I want to get wing bands that I can seal with the same pair of pliers --- thinking Zip bands look the same: http://www.randallburkey.com/ZIP-WING-BAND-PLIER/productinfo/21060/

The business end of the pliers looks like they do the same thing, but maybe someone actually KNOWS if it will work???

If I'm not mistaken, they work a little differently. Maybe you could try it, then if it doesnt work, buy the pliers?
