Leg Bands + Feathered feet = ?

Just wondering if people get problems when putting leg rings on feather footed breeds. Would it wear on the feathers? Get muck caught under it? Opinions and experiences please!

I have some velcro strips on all of my chicks. (Including my 2 16 week old dark brahma girls). I haven't noticed any wear on their feathers or any muck getting stuck under them.

Ok I ordered some of those "snap on, snap off" ones, just in case it does cause any problems so I can take them off quick

Hopefully they won't come off too easily (I've heard mixed reviews) but if the rings don't cause problems after a while I can replace them with something more permanent
