what size of leg bands do i use for ducklings that just hatch

I was thinking the exact same thing earlier today while holding my day old Welsh Harlequin duckling. Found some elastic ones on e-bay 7mm size.
His right leg measures 6mm just above the ankle... I'm guessing the have ankles? lol. Reason I am doing this is to keep track of breed and where he came from as I have 3 staggered hatches going on now. Sadly only one of the 4 WH made it thru. The other 3 got stuck overnight in spite of the 90% humidity.
I used a cheep plastic micrometer from Lowe's to measure diameter.

yayup that's why I got the elastic ones and also the next 2 larger sizes. figgered if they get snug at least they will stretch a bit till I i change to a larger size.
