Where can you find these for your new chicks? I am hoping to try and vent sex them this time, and I want to label who is a boy and who is a girl. Where is a good place to bet them? Either online or southern California though please.

I was told that Hawthorne Feed Store, Escondido has them. I'm actually going there tonight to pick some up for my kids' birds. They will be showing them in May, and need leg bands. You can also use different colored zip ties...but you'll have to change them as they grow.

Smith Poultry and Game Bird Supply has about the best price of any place I have found.

We bought some zip ties off eBay for $3. They are multicolored and different sizes. We even got them in 2 or 3 days.
