Leg dragging in newly hatched chick

Hi, so my last chick finally hatched overnight. Took a few days longer than The rest. However, this chick seems to only have one working leg. The other just drags behind it and it can’t seem to stand up. What can I do?

Look up splayed leg on YouTube. I was able to fix mine after watching a few videos on it. I used the Band-Aid method as opposed to the rubber band

How long until you saw improvement?

The next day was doing a bit better, but by 2 to 3 days it was actually moving fairly well and a week after that I took the Band-Aid off

That’s another thing I thought.
anyhow, I just went to check on the guy and poor thing didn’t make it through the night. I’m so sad. Thank you both for you help.

It is probably for the best, even though it's heartbreaking. Chicks like that just don't have a quality life to look forward to.
