1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
⚫7 week old light brahma
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
⚫One leg sticking out to the side. Straight out, no bending at the joint. One day fine, next day, limping and not putting weight on the one leg. Nothing appears swollen.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
⚫Few days
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
⚫No
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
⚫See above
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
⚫Roosting bar in brooder?
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
⚫Normal
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
⚫ Normal
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
⚫Separated her. She's laying down mostly. Hobbles with one leg to eat
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
⚫Self treatment, or cull
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
⚫I will
12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
⚫ It was in the brooder with others. Pine Shavings. Now in a cat carrier

I inspected her a bit more. She is not putting weight on it at all, has it straight out to the side, and will not bend her "knee" on her own. Toes are very straight. I did look and feel all over her leg and hip area and there is no swelling. The knee will still bend if I bend it, and the hip joint moves as well. One day fine next day limping. She is also vibrating a bit, sign of pain??
