Its a little tore up and pretty swolen. I put her in my bathtub. I rinsed off the foot and put a&d ointment on it.

Oh, poor thing. Is her shank broken? It looks bent in the pic.
A little more info would be helpful. How did it happen? Can she put weight on it?

I see the red/bloody? area between her toes. Is there any damage to the bottom of the foot? Bite? Puncture wound?

How is she acting? Active? Shocky? Did you check her over for other wounds?

General first aid is to keep her quiet and warm (not hot), so she doesn't do more injury. A cage or dog kennel is a good option.

Just saw your post...
That's what I would have done. The antibiotic ointment will help. If she has puncture wounds, she will probably need some antibiotic. Tylan is one that people often use, but I cannot advise more on this... have never used it.

Their recovery abilities are amazing, so infection is probably your biggest concern. Set her up in a quiet place away from the others with food and water so she will keep still and can heal. It will prevent others from picking on her and make it easier for you to monitor and treat her.

I would make a splint for the poor girl out of the handle of a wooden spoon. Looks so Painful! poor lady. I would give her some baby aspirin for the pain.

I forgot to say: isolate her, clean the area so it doesn't get infected, and make a chicken sling for her as well. Chicken slings work wonders! Here is a pic of the sling my crippled hen used:

Is the skin broken where the black part is? Is the bone showing through the skin? I would clean the leg with betadine, and put a temporary padded splint on the leg with vet wrap and popsicle sticks or a similar stiff object. If the skin is broken and the leg seems broken, it would be best to see a vet in the morning, because the risk of infection.

The chicken sling idea is good to get her upright and put some food and water bowls in front of her. She may need something over her back to keep her from getting out of the sling. Take her out often to move her legs around, and to exercise her joints. Here is a good link on splinting:
