Hi!
One of our girls seems to have a leg injury. She’s been mostly isolated for the last month ( I have been letting her walk around the yard/get fresh air the last week for just an hour or so).
No visible sign of injury, but initially could not bear weight on one leg, would fall over etc. she’s not back to normal, but is doing some walking/moving. Only takes a couple steps before sitting down generally but was startled earlier and ran across whole yard.
Still eating, drinking, pooping, laying as normal in her storage tote in the garage (generally lights off to encourage rest). She’s a bit droopy (comb and tail feathers) but I assume that’s discomfort related or fear of the other chickens getting after her for weakness.
Just want to be sure I shouldn’t suspect anything else besides probable leg injury and should just give her time to heal. Thanks!
