leg problem in day old chick

one of the chicks that hatched has legs that spread apart when he lies down. she can walk but wobbles and falls. is this spraddle leg or is this cureable? she is doing fine except the legs spread apart far away from the body.

Sounds just like what my chickie was doing, my results were not as I had hoped. Sometimes I wonder now if I had maybe left him alone and not messed with him if he would have come out of it on his own, ijdk The Best of luck for your little one!

I wonder now if I overeacted with my chick, I don't think his legs spread that far apart!

He could walk but with his legs far apart!

mine doesnt spread apart that far either but still has trouble walking and sitting down.

I just hatched 6 chicks and one of them had Spraddle leg Terribly! Certainly worse than than the one on the website. Here's hoping for good results!

I am treating a chick for spraddle leg and he is doing very well. The band aid method seems to be working well for him.
