Had a bantam cochin chick hatch a little before 10 am this morning. I just noticed its left foot looks a bit curled, turning more inward. The chick is moving around in the bator, but wobbly (I just thought because it is newly hatched).
I looked up spraddle legs....doesnt look like that. I looked up ricketts, didnt find much info on it. Came across something about curly toes..said it only effects 1 leg and is a vit B deficiency.
Is there any way to treat it??????
Dang, its the only chick that hatched out of the 10 that made it to lockdown (unless others surprise me and start pipping soon).
Help, help. Give me some advice, suggestions, some more info to look up, treatments, anything!!!
Thanks
