Leg problem

I have her in a sling! We came home from church yesterday and she was laying with one leg straighy out behind her and the other curled under like normal. Doesnt appear broken. She is eating and drinking just seems to be in pain and can't stand on that leg. Any ideas? Of course no vet will see her til tomorrow.

Could be something like a sprain, or even something like Mareks. A sprain should improve, Mareks will get worse.

We are thinking sprain or bruise do I just keep her in the sling?

What had fallen about 36 hours prior trying to get in the coop and slipped off the ladder.

Give her time, some in the sling, some out and see if she improves over the coming weeks.

She is now portable and I can get her to the vet if needed. Thank you! I will let her rest. Now that she's off it she doesn't seem to be in pain.
