It might be too late but I'm desperate for a solution. I've searched all over and can't find a situation like mine, so I finally decided I'll join and make my own thread on it.
Basically the hen had hatched her eggs but about five of them were left over, so we took them and heated them, waiting for them to hatch. This poor little guy was the last to hatch, and he was lightly walking around. We made the horrific mistake of trying to put them back with momma hen and she picked at them violently, I fear this is what caused the chick to not walk again, a day later, she has a purple leg and swollen joints. He will not stand up but he chirps frequently and tries to crawl around, and he will peck at things and drinks when we dip his beak in water.
Please, anything will help at this point, even if it's too late, hopefully it will help someone else.
