Yaaay so my first real successful hatch happened last weekend 4 outta 6
They are chamois polish and I've crest sexed and have 2 boys and 2 girls. One boy is very easy to see he has a black line on one corner of his beak and on his leg, the other boy has no distinctive marks so I want to ring them... but I don't want to buy chicks rings that they will grow out of in a week. I've seen about 4 sizes, day old chick up to adult. Can anyone suggest what size is best so the rings fit safely but allow room for growing..
I have other chamois hatching next week and plan to sell trios to get rid of my roosters but I need to colour ring boys and girls that aren't related. e.g. pink for girls in hatch 1 and red for boys in hatch 1 - then yellow for girls hatch 2 and green for boys hatch 2
