Hello, thank you for your care. Mavis just died, in arms. I knew she was going today so kept her with me.
Her crop & tummy were fine. I do think she's just yet another victim of being bred to lay too many eggs (she's an isa brown) & in the end, she was 4, she couldn't keep going. Unfortunately it's all too common with these girls I rescue.
Here's Mavis, just last Friday, happy, chatting & playing with Minnie Moo. Fond memories.
