Since my last post on this forum, my family actually got chickens. I got an email from an acquaintance (who knows about my passion for chickens) that she knew someone who found 2 chickens in the street and the chickens needed a home urgently. So, even though it's still illegal, I went and picked up the chickens. They were sooooo wonderful. It was a naked neck and some other breed (I couldn't tell which) and they were about 4 mos old, both presumably pullets although I'm no expert on sexing chickens unless they lay eggs or crow. We had them in our yard for a few days before giving them to a foster home until we can legally have them back. So now I'm even *more* determined to legalize our chickens!
